GOLD Winner FAMILY FIRST AID / Wilga Pain Rub
We are incredibly proud that our Wilga Rub has been awarded Gold in the 2026 Clean + Conscious Awards. This year feels even more special after receiving Bronze in 2025. To see our much-loved Wilga Rub move from Bronze to Gold is incredibly inspiring and a beautiful recognition of how far it has come.
Hearing from customers across Australia who have made Wilga part of their daily routine and say it helps support their everyday comfort means more to us than we can put into words. This award belongs not only to our hardworking team, but also to every customer who has supported us, shared their experience and believed in the power of Australian native plants.

What I liked most about this product was how versatile it was for the whole family. I used it on my children for minor bumps and bruises, and it was gentle and easy to apply. I also gave it to my mum to use on her arthritic joints, and she found it really helpful for reducing inflammation and easing acute pain. She especially liked applying it before her chiropractic appointments, as she felt it helped improve her comfort beforehand. It was a product that we both reached for regularly and were genuinely impressed with. What impressed me most was how deeply the brand’s values are woven into every part of the business. I loved that they grow many of their own Australian native botanicals on their family farm rather than wild harvesting them, helping to protect native ecosystems while supporting full transparency from farm to finished product. Their commitment to small batch Australian manufacturing, recyclable packaging, supporting local suppliers, and creating flexible employment opportunities for rural families is genuinely inspiring. I was especially moved by their quiet acts of generosity, from donating products to people in need to supporting local sporting clubs, Indigenous communities, and regional talent. It feels like a brand that truly cares about people, community, and the environment, not just the products they create.

I love that it is only 3 ingredients. Nothing extra that isn’t needed is added. It has no smell, which I loved! It feels beautiful on the skin. My husband recently had a flare-up of back and this product along with a heat pack worked wonders for him. I am super impressed that it is a very thought out business in all aspects, but especially when it comes to sustainability, transparency and integrity. I love how it’s all Australian, grown and manufactured here. It appears to be a beautiful family business that quietly gives back to their community and they as a company appear to be constantly partaking in random acts of kindness. The note they sent with the product is a great example of this and the nature of their business.

This rub is so easy to use and has a wonderful feel to it. I have used it for aches and pains on myself, and my family and I love that it is simple, with divinely safe and nourishing ingredients so I don’t have to stress when I use it to treat my children’s aches and growing pains. A brilliant addition for the natural first aid kit. There is something about using products that contain native plant extracts that gives a deeply nourishing essence to the product. I’m impressed the brand keeps their ingredients sustainably and locally sourced and admire the heartfelt approach to their social responsibility as a small business that quietly raises up the community around them. I really appreciate these small (sometimes large) actions that make a real impact in the lives of your own community.

I really like that this uses native Australian ingredients like native apricot, infused in olive oil and beeswax, giving it a really nourishing, protective feel on the skin. Almost like it’s helping to calm and shield irritated or dry patches with a protective layer rather than aggressively treating them. It feels especially supportive for when things are feeling inflamed, itchy and just out of balance. Woodleigh Hills stands out as a really values-led Australian farm-based business that feels deeply grounded in care, transparency and community. I really like the focus on small-batch production, ethical sourcing and the strong emphasis on the people behind the brand. It feels like a brand that’s genuinely embedded in its values rather than just talking about them.

Three ingredients, all traceable to a working family farm in South Australia. The consistency is beautiful, rich without being heavy, and it absorbs in a way that feels restorative rather than just coating the surface. For anyone navigating chronic skin conditions, there’s also something deeply reassuring about knowing exactly what you’re putting on your skin and where every element came from. What moves me most about Woodleigh Hills is the detail that nobody made them include. Growing native botanicals on farm rather than wild harvesting to protect vulnerable ecosystems, partnering with Aboriginal Community Elders, quietly gifting a 12 month product supply to a child with chronic eczema without ever seeking recognition for it. This is a brand that lives its values in the most unglamorous and sincere way possible.

Michelle Ruzzene
It has a really comforting, old-school balm feel, and in a good way. It’s simple, soothing and sits nicely on flare-prone areas without irritating the skin further. The transparency here is probably the biggest win. You can actually see where things are coming from, especially with the farm-grown ingredients and local sourcing. There’s a real sense of community and practicality behind everything.
ABC Landline
.............
Balm Farmer: Creating balms from native plants

Recently we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming ABC Landline journalist Kerry Staight and the wonderful Landline crew to Woodleigh Hills. They enjoyed exploring our farm, meeting our sheep, walking amongst our Australian native plants, and learning how we grow, harvest and handcraft our natural healing products from paddock to jar. It was a privilege to share our story, our passion for Australian native plants, and the journey behind Woodleigh Hills.
